You gonna sell the garage and go into Web Design? N2GOZ Sat, 17 May 2008 21:10:28 KC2EHA-L node# 329960 is finally up and running on 223.520 MHz. with 10 watts output for now. The antenna seems to be working out okay with no SWR issues noticed. A slight audio problem was noticed when stations on the Internet were talking, but after some adjustments and tinkering around with the sound card settings on this e-machine that was donated by Jim- KC2DHU, and upgraded to Windows XP by Ray- the provider of the N2GOZ-R conference server, and I hope they are set up correctly, it seemed to clear it up for the moment. I plan on adding a 60 watt amplifier (Mirage C-216) at some point in the future. Especially enjoy the APRS overview. 144.390 is great fun, and it is exceptionally useful, but HF APRS (namely 10.14710 MHz)is also quite addicting. Nice QSO on 2 meter APRS today, by the way.
