Listen there BIG CREEP, I'm still waiting for your comeback to my big busting story of you. What's the matter, torque wrench in the way of your writing?? Little Dave
jim good luck with tower i know dave is ready to start digging is that a ham iv roator ? dan
Nice job on the Website Jimmy! You gonna sell the garage and go into Web Design?Peace, Glenn
KC2EHA-L node# 329960 is finally up and running on 223.520 MHz. with 10 watts output for now. The antenna seems to be working out okay with no SWR issues noticed. A slight audio problem was noticed when stations on the Internet were talking, but after some adjustments and tinkering around with the sound card settings on this e-machine that was donated by Jim- KC2DHU, and upgraded to Windows XP by Ray- the provider of the N2GOZ-R conference server, and I hope they are set up correctly, it seemed to clear it up for the moment. I plan on adding a 60 watt amplifier (Mirage C-216) at some point in the future.
HEARD DAVE ON HIS NEW 220MHZ LINK WITH JUST O.5 WATT SOUND GUD GLAD TO SEE DAVE WENT WITH HUSTLER 220 ANT. DAN
Thanks Dan. A little arm twisting goes a long way. I, too, am glad I got the G7-220 also. Now it's Jimmy's turn! I did the 220 link, now he's up to bat to get the 6 meter link up and running.
I was glad to have stopped by and dug out the last remaining shovel full of earth for the "MIGHTY" KC2EHA repeater tower. Good luck with all your efforts on having the best repeater system in Rockland County. Julie- K2JMS

Greetings Jim. Nice website. Especially enjoy the APRS overview. 144.390 is great fun, and it is exceptionally useful, but HF APRS (namely 10.14710 MHz)is also quite addicting. Nice QSO on 2 meter APRS today, by the way.73 from Buffalo NYJohn KB2HSH

Great blog post.
Hey Jim, found your site while looking for information on the E-Z Way crank-up tilt-over tower using the base section bolted to concrete rather than the usual "wonder pole" installation, because I recently acquired an RBS-50 (or RBX-50, not sure which yet). I was wondering if you had any E-Z Way documentation on the base construction you could share. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
