The Washingtonville NY. Repeater is a midland desktop 70-805B . The duplexers are wacom WP-649. This is a local repeater in my Girlfriends apartment (boy she must love me). The antenna is a ringo stuffed in the attic. The repeater is running 21 watts out of the cans. In the pic are the pc, rigblaster, etc.
This little thing is a trooper. :)

This cute little setup is now off the air. This will be replaced with a simple link radio. Look below, the repeater is being put into a cabinet, and relocated locally. Hopefully to a better location.
This is the back of an old Budd case. Once apon a time it housed an Aerotron VHF base radio. Many 'O' moon ago, I modified the aerotron. Removed the Aerotron XTAL controlled exiter, and modded a programmable Wilson VHF rig to drive the wonderfull tube amp. With the soft glow of the tube this thing would run 100 Watts all day and never swet. However that was many moons ago, and now the case is getting a new life.

Cooling. Ya gotta have cooling, so I mounted a ten inch fan on top of the case. This fan believe it or not is quiet and moves alot of air. It will be thermostatically controlled.
This is the little thermostat. I simply drilled and tapped the heat sink to accept 2 6X32 screws and wallah. The thermostat kicks in at 100 degrees and out at 70. Also on the front panel I'v mounted an override switch to run the fan continously, or for testing.

The original Aerotron front cover in place. The grey panel covers up various holes that happen to be convenient for the repeater controls. The switch in the upper left is the manual override for the fan. She should be safe in here :)
This is an old GE cabinet donated by Larry W2LGB. This will house the duplexers and keep them out of harms way. I had to drill out the spot welds on a stiffining support that was in the bottom. With the support removed the Duplexers just fit.

All closed up. I just need to pick up new locks for the GE cabinet, and she is reddy to go. Keep your fingers crossed this li'l pup plays better.
